How It All Started

I spend a lot of time on the water. Being out there for hours, you need some snacks to hold you over. I would often find myself walking up and down the gas station aisles looking for that perfect snack. More times than not I’d buy some over priced beef jerky (you know, where you pay $8 and get five bite sized pieces) and a bag of peanuts. Being the self proclaimed spice connoisseur that I am, I usually end up picking up a big name brand with some mediocre “heat”. These peanuts were mostly a lab created salt blend with a little dusting of spice (if you want to call it that). I knew I could do better, so I started messing around, handing samples out to friends, family members, coworkers. With overwhelming good responses, I decided to do something about it. And here we are. The right amount of heat for us chili heads, well balanced flavor profile, and made in small batches to ensure consistency. Great for snacking at the bar, finger foods at a party, seeing which buddy of yours is a baby. And even fishing trips.
